As someone whose favorite system is the Sega Genesis, that is completely untrue. What did the 32X have? Knuckles Chaotix? That game isn't even good, as made clear by the fact that Knuckles is slapped onto it for sales.

For those that have been following Sony for the last 5 or so years, you would know that the gaming divisions were the only ones that were actually profitable. Their tv, music, movie and other divisions were trailing and the Playstation brand name was the strongest product they had.

Fast forward and you see them losing their market shares lead, in the middle of a format adaptation that's going slower than they expected(some suggest it will never take over DVD) and now a global recession. Sony is fucked no matter how you look at it
