Anyway, I'm going by memory...but it's something to do with the theory that Ness & the gang travel back in time to "abort" a fetal Giygas before he can become full grown. The dialogue that Giygas gives Ness is also indicative of a rape victim. I heard this was confirmed in an interview with one of the creators, but I never read it myself.

Anyway, a big indicator is that there appears to be a fetus in the background when you fight Giygas. Pic related. I'll let someone else pick it up from here if there's anything else to it.
