That said, it's still a fun story with some real emotion (though it gets convoluted at times and it's not as well told as some newer games). It's also got memorable characters and character/enemy designs, a very enjoyable customization system (Materia) and more hidden crap than you can shake a stick at. There's something about it that makes it almost infinitely replayable.
