Your parents and friends complain that you are too young to watching anime. They think it’s cartoons for kids. Problem is that you watch anime because you have little interest in television. One day you actually try to watching something that is watchable on television. All you see are either sitcoms, the same selection of medical or crime dramas, and the numerous selection of reality tv shows. Cable television to you is not much different; it’s the same content, except with more reruns from programs repurposed from broadcast television.
Do you watch anime because you find actual television programming has little appeal to you. And if you try to watch anything that’s watchable does it remind you why you watch anime?
