think the animation was quite fitting for the fans that played the
first RE games. I enjoyed the movie; it's not like we get this kind of
fan service through Hollywood. The director of this animation had a
much better approach to the atmosphere, and scenario; a classic
Resident Evil scenario (such as in RE2) usually follows a simple, but
effective formula; first there is foreshadowing of a tragedy, next, a
sudden calm (before the storm), and then catastrophe strikes in a most
improbable, cheesy, but too marvelous not to be entertained fashion.
I dunno, I liked it. |
