She's more of a popular figure in Windurst than a character that actual does anything.

Whatever race you chose just solo warrior to 10 first. It will let you get used to the controls and stuff because it's easy to solo it the first few levels. Then choose what you want to main from there.

insect paste + hume fishing rod = fish up moat carp in your hometown's port. sell them off to the auction house for around 3k. it'll get you some money if you're completely starting off and fishing is a good time-sink to get some much needed money early on
