11/10/08(Mon)00:51 No.22547764>>22547512 I am waiting for God Hand to be reincarnated.
Soon
games will become so expensive to create that they will begin to cost
upwards of 90-100 dollars. They will spend years in development, with
thousands of programmers and artists working to create them. They will
be visually stunning, they will have well-made stories, they will be
accessible to everyone,
and they will tank.
Game sales will fall off, and the industry will be at the brink of destruction.
It
is then that God Hand shall rise again, though only the faithful will
recognize it as such. A handful of people with a tiny bit of cash will
create a game that is not pretty, that is not accessible, that does not
have a wonderful story, but that is fun. It will sell by the millions.
It will breathe life back into the corpse of the game industry, and usher in a new age of prosperity and fun.
You may want to save this post for posterity, for it will come true.
