    So I used a noclip to explore the rest of the second map. The demo allows you to eplore more than half. In total the demo is about 1.7 maps.
    After the safe room there's a complex of offices, a stairwell going down to a large lobby, which leads out to a broad, straight street (with cars and car alarms) and a Pawn shop at the end, which contaisn the end-of-map safe-room.

    You can see the Mercy Hospital is reasonably close from the offices and the street, so I assume afterwards is a whole map at street level, then the last two maps set in the hospital itself, which is a huge sky-scraper-sized building.

    Open the console, type in "sv_cheats 1" then type in "ent_fire !self setteam 3". That will switch you to the zombie team, however if you then type in "ent_fire !self setteam 2", you'll switch back to the survivors, (The level will restart when you do this) and you'll have one extra survivor with you. You can keep doing this for more survivors

    Now, can anyone tell me the command to make the AI go on their own?

    All they had to do was develop a good AI system, and a fluid system to interact with objects to block doors/windows/reinforce thin walls and things like that.

    One way I did it was to go to spectator mode, set difficulty to easy and spawn a few tanks in the safe room. Spawn enough and they'll rip the safe room door off eventually.
    Or you could spawn as a Tnak yourself and try it, but I've not tried that. Anyway, with the door ripped off you can use director_force_versus_start to get the survivors moving.

    Interface is as inimal as it can be. It notes the health of the team, and whther or not they're carrying any med packs, pipe-bombs and pills, and lists your current weapons and ammo, and that's it.

    Never seen a shotty user run out of ammo. The times I've gone auto (uzi/AR) I've gotten close but always manage to reach a stockpile before I run out.

    Pistols have infinite ammo but you can't realistically go through the game with that only.

    Flashlights, I'm not sure what you mean - they have infinite battery power, unlike HL2, but the light tends to attract zombies' attention and startles witches.

    Actually it's not too bad against hordes, as it has penetration and can kill 2 or more in 1 shot. You just have to angle yourself right when they're coming, the horde are usually grouped up. Though on occasion they spread out some when they have to traverse over some object(s). Yeah I rather have the m16, but if you get the right angle, you can still take out 20-30 zombies before reloading with the sniper rifle.

    Hunter tips...

    Use your main attack to wall jump... you can do it an infinite number of times, and get anywhere

    crouch for a few seconds, then use main attack to pin someone down

    There are some pipes you can use to climb up. Not useful to hunters (you can just jump to get places), but as a boomer, you can use it to drop onto the group of survivors and explode on impact

    Good god, counter-op play is going to be fun.

    Also kill all your npc teamates (or switch to zombie side, kill them, switch back and type respawn in the console) and try to go through the stages solo. Very intense.

    I and my friends have gotten through the first 1.5 levels on expert with pistols only. We even took out a tank.

    There are a lot of rooms that look out onto the ally too. Wait till you team up with a hunter. You pull the back guard right when the hunter attack the next closest person.
