That's precisely why I didn't vote for him. I don't think he has a plan, at least not a new or revolutionary one. America isn't going to get any better or any worse, because quite honestly, there isn't anything to do about it. You would have to completely overhaul our entire system to see any sort of changes.

    ...yeah it is.

The only people in America that don't pay taxes are now going to be taxed the most, because they have the most to give.

That's pretty specific. It just a matter of how the government plans on getting that money turned into loans.

What are you talking about? Rich people are hiring like no other. Wal Mart has decided to take advantage of the economic problems to increase their workforce by hundreds of thousands.

i'm not talking about how much you think is fair, i'm talking about FACTS. when the government wants less of something, they put a tax on it. want less people buying cigarettes and alcohol? sin tax. less people buying foreign goods? tariff. putting a tax on high income is no different, you're going to get fewer people with high income, thats how it works. less people in the higher tax brackets means less money coming in. since "tax the rich fuckers" is the entire lynchpin of this obama plan, i'm struggling to see what he thinks the outcome is, unless he WANTS everyone to be poor and dependant on government handouts

Maybe if you live in small towns or in the country. But if you live in a city, that's a way different story. Also, where do you think Wal Mart's labor force comes from? It's all the poor lazy hicks, illegals, and black people who beg for money from the state because they're too useless to make something of themselves. I don't see any value in giving those wards of the state my money just so they can continue to buy drugs, alcohol, and expensive electronics. As long as the Democrats have money or a group of people who actually earned their money to tax, those whiny little bitches will keep underachieving and crying about how "hard" they have it.

Once you get older you have to start saving for retirement, and any increase in pay gets pretty much absorbed by that. If you start out with $20,000, by the time you're 50, you'll still only be making about $30,000 so that you'll have something for when you're too old to work.

Taxing the rich lowers poverty because the money that the rich part with is distributed into government funded programs.

Let me lay it straight for you.

Rich people HAVE the money to be taxed. So fucking tax them.

Poor people DON'T have as much money to be taxed. So don't fucking tax them as much.

It's not like they're taking the rich money away and giving it to poor faggots who haven't earned it. The money is being put in a multitude of places. It's absurd if you think that the wealthiest people in America shouldn't be taxed more than the poorest.

Taxing the rich is just that, taxing the rich. If a company is successful enough it will expand in order to meet demand thus creating more jobs. Creating jobs is not about how much a company is being taxed, hell its not even necessarily about how much profit they are making but whether expanding will be profitable, therefore a worthwhile investment. If a company starts to stagnate regardless of whether its profitable it will suffer, thats whats more likely to cut jobs, when a companies profit growth doesn't meet a certain percentage which causes share holders to loose confidence in a company, said company will try to do what it can to improve profits one being cutting jobs.

McCain was just as vague, even more so, and he associated himself with elements no politician has any business associating with.

And if you must know, redistribution of the flow of tax while giving those who are having trouble improving their livelihoods because they're just trying to even stay afloat in the current economic environment more of a chance to do so is sound, because many of those said people are a part of the American work force. It has the potential to free some of the burden on those who can just barely pay for themselves which can encourage consumerism as well as other things like investing because they're not trying so hard to just stay alive.

And it makes more sense than a tax vacation.

I didn't vote for him because he's black thank you very much, that's just an extra perk.

    1. I have never been a fan of Bush, so I won't defend him, although it surprises me that Democrats hate him so much, he did all the kinds of stupid shit they love. All in the name i suppose.
    2. A government surplus is a bad thing for the economy, i wish people would stop giving Clinton credit for that.
    3. The economy during Clinton's administration had nothing to do with anything Clinton did.

But that's enough of your little digression. I'd love to discuss how the 90s economy was incidental to Clinton and not because of anything he did, but that's entirely beside the point.

Less rich people leads to less jobs because they hold the capital. If they can't afford it, it will go to someone richer, leading to monopolies, or just go away, meaning less jobs. Pretty basic stuff.

That's got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. You think every body can have a high paying job one of the reasons a lot of jobs pay so much is because there are a limited amount of such jobs and a limited amount of qualified workers.

Nobody is saying that Obama/Dems want socialism. Rather we just want to lessen the massive burden on the middle/low class so we can actually spend and invest money for once.
