A game I really wanted to like but the fucking map, not the environment but the map itself, and the driving turned me off of it.

I got to the lumbermill and just put it down. Don't feel like picking it up again anytime soon.

Dunno if I should get it again. I found it pretty... strange. Also I couldn't figure out what the fuck was going on half the time, mainly due to all the texts being in moonspeak.

Really fantastic game, can't wait to buy it again.

The gameplay is terrible.
It would've worked better as a tv series, but then again we already have Twin Peaks.
Music is great though.

I bought a PS3 just to play the Director's Cut version, and JoJo's ASB.

When I bought my game new, it came with an Official NFL Product sticker on it.

I don't know why.

I hope SWERY understands that people enjoyed the game in a partially campy sense and not completely unironically, I hope the Director's Cut doesn't fuck it up in that regard.

I tried playing it at a friends house, but thought it was pretty bad. May pick up the Directors Cut if it's cheap enough and see if it gets any better.

It's one of the few games, that I feel like I should hate because it's clunky as fuck, but can't help love it because it's really damn charming.

It's the only 10/10 game I wouldn't recommend to 95% of people I know. So much of the basic stuff is horrendous (map, car handling, shooting mechanics, enemy variety), but there's so much attention to detail in all the shit that doesn't matter. The fact that they actually fully rendered/textured every room in a house (even rooms you can't enter, just look at through a window outside) is mindblowing. The fucking cars have blinkers and windshield wipers, and they serve absolutely NO gameplay purpose, but I still found myself using them just to immerse myself in the game.

Personally, I fell in love with it's charm.
I'm a huge fan of that weird kusoge feeling it had which made it very much feel like what Twin Peaks was to television.
Although, I can't tell if Deadly Premonition was going out of it's way to bDriving was comfy as fuck, I loved how barren it felt.

BUT, the clock na dhow slowly time moved really pissed me off, and the map didn't work for me.
Combat was awful, but not unplayable, sort of made me feel trapped and panicked, so I liked that.

Only got to chapter 2 though, you can just get lost in doing nothing.

Will definately buy again though, I hear it's got move controls, so I might buy a move remote for the full beautiful train wreck of a game.
