I hardly even use my smartphone. I would never use it to have EVERYTHING IN THE PALM OF MY HAND!, because if it ever gets lost, broken or stolen then I'm fucked. I make calls, text people and occasionally browse the internet with it.

Literally the only game I enjoy playing on my phone is BubbleBobble and Bejeweled. Gamedev story is fun but I can play all those games on my computer anyways.

I use mine to answer email so I can be away from my desk and still do my job during the day. Off-work it's there for mainly quick web access or short distractions, or to use the built-in and surprisingly good GPS. So I get a good amount of use out of it past basic phone use.

Still wouldn't want to waste money on an iPhone though, especially not to play shitty games. A $400+ surcharge on a phone (depending on how good of a smart phone you're looking at) just because Apple made it is profoundly stupid. I sure as hell am not going to try to load games on my phone either.

Yeah I use SNesoid. I used to have problems with a few ROMS being unable to run properly, but that hasn't happened for a while and I can't say I know how to fix it.

Of course I don't play action-intensive games like MegaMan X, because it's a pain in the ass to play with a virtual touchpad.
