Attention 4chan extension/user script/archive developers: Some time in the next few days, we'll be rolling out a complete HTML rewrite of the imageboards.
The design will remain the same, but the underlying HTML/CSS is completely new, and validates HTML5/CSS3 (with some tweaks to account for cross-browser compatibility).

Please visit this thread to read more about the changes, and here to preview the code.

As a regular user, these changes should not affect you. You will need to update your 4chan browser extensions/user scripts when their maintainer updates them to be compatible with the changes.
The official 4chan Chrome extension will be ready to go when the updates happen, and 4chan X should be ready soon. We'll post more details on the day of the migration!

As somebody who's definitely not going to play this game, I can confidently say for something like this, reviews are irrelevant. With a niche product that is going out of its way to appeal to that niche, how could anybody outside that niche (that is, practically ALL reviewers) possibly understand the appeal? They don't even know what they're supposed to be looking for

Atelier would sell basically the same amount of copies even if it got 6s and lower across the board on every website because nobody who actual plays these games gives a shit what Gamespot thinks. It's generally the same with stuff like shmups and fighting games for that matter.

It means it's the exactly the same game as every other NIS game with just a few game variations and licensed lolis from mid-tier games/animoos. These games are aimed mainly at the easy to please Western animoo market who'll buy anything as long as it's packaged with a scantily clad loli winking at the neckbeard from the cover..

That company churns it out by the bucketful to cash in on the PS1 era nostaliga goggled morons who are now older and can finally afford to buy games.

The problem is they have none of the imagination, zest and general excellence of that era. It's a soulless process driven code-by-numbers pile of maggot infested garbage.
