Every Call of Duty game not only innovates, but delivers a new and compelling experience every year except for MW2, which suffered from netcode problems and poor balance but was still a blast to play. Call me whatever you want but that's a level in MW3, staring at a wall so you can't tell it's that level because...well...it would be easy to do otherwise.

Tribes is introducing people to what FPS games used to be. They aren't happy with just CoD anymore. Meanwhile iPhone games are fucking terrible and appeal to a completely different crowd of gamers (i.e. people that are more casual than CoD fans by a large margin), and BF3 is just Bad Company 2 but worse. And now that EA has such PR problems, no one wants to support them in any way.

But Tribes is both good, and something new. And free, which certainly helps. I knew from the start MW3 would suffer from consumer apathy due to how long the series has been going, and the fact that IW left, but not by this big of a margin.

I hate to admit it, but I'll end up buying it because:
1)My friends will all own it.
2)I enjoyed Black Ops, it's the only recent COD I enjoyed
3)Fuck you, that's why.
