Allods was never really a grind from what I remember after they added the quests, but they have a limit to how much you can level a day unless they changed that.

On a casual scale I believe LoL payout system is fine. However, if we were playing competitively, the game then requires a bunch of grinding. i.e. Rank matches in LoL sometimes require you to counter pick their heroes, and if you don't have the required heroes, you are probably fucked. There are three DLC add-ons with other powers/probably cities and content, yes. And you can just get some powers, as well as armor, through using real money.
However, that is all not neccessary to reach the max level and enjoy endgame content. PvP doesn't break either, as far as I have experienced, and even though you just have access to a set amount of your in-world money (the rest goes to the "bank") you can get a random chance each day to basically just fuck that restriction (which means access to really expensive armor aso).

I've played the game on two different occasions, once alone and the other time with irl friends. The game is really, really good, but the biggest problem is that nobody plays it. Well, yes, and no. If you want to be competitive in spaceship pvp yes, bordering with pay2win. But pvp is rather small part of this game and most players don't give a fuck about it, they play for the story missions (which you can easily do with default gear) then for pve (STFs) which is pretty doable with free stuff even on elite, and grinding is not to bad because you get gear for pve while doing said pve, the goal is its own method.

I don't care what you all say, LOTRO Is fun as hell.

Luckily, unlike pretty much everything else in that list, you can pretty much "buy the game" and unlock all the pre-expansion content for like, 15$.

I'd put LOTRO in a Combo demo/grind tier, if you must. It is definitely still worth checking out, though.

The only grind is in the weekly drops and achievement weapons. That's about it.
