It's not even much different. The graphics are a logical evolution, CSS is a lot different from 1.6 graphics wise, so this would have to push graphics forward too.

Weapon choice isn't narrowed down to 3 pistols, 2 rifles and AWP and there's even a few more weapons.

Support for more game modes is a very good thing, the new maps are FUN and ENJOYABLE, the revamped maps are PERFECTLY FINE.

The design of the map is similar, but it's still a fun map to play.

I like the extra effects like blood and bullet strikes. The gun models look a lot better now as well, no more anorexic AK47 daintily sitting in your palms.

The new types of maps with the "safe house" setting are a load of fun after coming from games like BC2 and BF3. Feels good to pump rounds straight through the walls of a house and rack up a few wallbang kills.

Just got a key. It's different, that's for sure. It's shiny and the maps look new even though the layout is pretty much the same.

Extreme purists will be pissed it's not a remake of 1.6, but right now it feels good. Just need to change how menus work, slightly too console-like for my taste.

GO has a potential to be a good FPS.
Only thing I'm worried about is those 1.6 faggots that try to force Valve's hand into making GO into 1.6 with updated grafics...

I love the kill cam

It's pretty neat. I myself kinda like it since it's not a carbon copy of CS(like all the pros want). It feels very similar, yet refreshing.

The only thing I dislike about it is the feeling of the guns. It's not that it doesn't feel the same as the older games, I just think the recoil feel weird.

And the pistols looks really "squashed" for some reason, maybe it's the FOV. It feels like it's really low.

I don't even see an imbalance when it comes to the guns. Shotguns are amazing even at medium to long range. SMGs do kind of feel like nerf guns but as long as you place accurate shots to their upper body/head then they are viable at long range and are amazing up close if you can aim.

All rifles are great and handgun balance has been drastically improved. No more having to glitch the glock in order to be on an even playing field in the pistol round.

• Added convar to support buying two flashbangs (ammo_grenade_limit_flashbang). This is disabled by default.

Guns actually have way too much recoil and bullet spread.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, it's solid but I feel like the player models are lanky, the movement is a bit awkward and L4D inspired. It's an eight year old engine and the gameplay itself is not really propelling the game in any new direction.

A game as solid as CS can only benefit from a new engine or new items.
