    Hey /v/

tell me how much hatred you poured into defeating this guy?
I had to seriously fight this guy for like 10 matches straight before finally finding out how to defeat him...
After I had defeated him... I was DAMN happy.

This game.. was hard as fuck, somehow I got past it, remember when you're on the plane and you have to face that juggernaught guy? Me and my friend both got stuck on the red dinosaur looking thing.

He's my favourite boss in that game due to being one of the few that you can actually go toe to toe with.
Ninja Gaiden Black was such a masterpiece but II wasn't as good and III looks like it's going to be weak.

another awesome weapon in the game was; the vigoorian flail, I liked its looks. not as much as the dabilahro but stil awesome enough.

First of all its not ninja gaiden 1 you faggot. It was just the new generation but far from the first.

Secondly, the game was a refreshing challenge among a sea of dogshit that was being made at the time.
none of my friends liked the game because they were too fucking stupid and didnt understand that you actually had to block and dodge to beat the bosses.

faggots get everything handed to them and dont remember anything about the games they play. with ninja gaiden you actual felt like you accomplished something when you beat it, and you had many memorable moments because you never really just breezed past entire sections.

it was the greatest game on the xbox, and ninja gaiden black is one of the greatest games of all time.
the challenges alone were fun as hell

So I'm playing this game on hard on the Vita and HOLY SHIT IT IS PISSING ME OFF TO NO END! I've beaten the original Xbox release on very hard, so I know how to play the game, and I expected to die every once in a while because I haven't played it in a good couple of years, but what's with all the shitty new enemies? Why does every boss become tedious because someone decided that they needed minions? Where's the combo counter? I'm mainly pissed about the smaller enemies in boss fights because it ruins a lot of the "flow" of the boss fights. I understand having FIFTEEN ENEMIES WHILE FIGHTING DOKU OMG SO HARD in the challenge stuff, but it straight pisses me off in the main game.

    3. Jump off the wall and click "X" to do an air slash
    4. Roll away and repeat
Sometimes he blocks this, sometimes he doesn't. The important thing is is that the move does a lot of damage and you can get away after using it. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU SHIT-FOR-BRAINS?
I sometimes wonder what the average age here is on /v/. Let me guess this was probably babby's first videogame for you.

Time to school all the kiddies in this thread.

Dark Souls is the single deepest, most challenging, most skill-based game ever created. There is not a single other game in any genre that comes close to the level of skill Dark Souls requires.

This is why Dark Souls threads are the best, most intelligent threads on /v/. Only the smartest, brightest, and most patient people post in them. Essentially, the very best of humanity posts in them.

Conversely, the only people who don't like Dark Souls clearly don't have the skills to handle its depth. It is too hardcore for them. That's okay though. Games like Halo exist for people like them. Dark Souls fans are too good to hold grudges.

They should have put counter-op in that game. (one guy is Ryu the other is one of the enemies)

    I like NG2 more than 1.

NG does a bunch of things better like world design and sense of exploration and wonder and doesn't have a ton of projectiles flying around like in NG2 but the combat is just soooo much better in NG2. You have more weapons, each has way more combos than before and then there are the obliteration techniques. And looks damn good.

Made the best 2 action games ever and once he left the rest of the team immediately killed the series. NGS2 was a big step down and NG3 seemd absolutely horrible. I looked at some dudes play for like half an hour with commentary and they pretty much confirmed you just mash buttons now.

She's an odd one, some people say her first form is the hardest and her second was easy while others state the opposite.
Generally I find her first form a bitch and her second a pushover.

Who is more annoying guys, that zombie archer in Ninja Gaiden? Or the Anor Londo Archers from Dark Souls?
    >> Anonymous 03/11/12(Sun)20:16 No.132331336
Dark Souls is easier than this crap. At least in dark souls when you die it's your fault. But in ninja gaiden...oh boy.

But the zombie archers are easy as shit and were essentially free essence.
