Skrillex makes the most shallow kind of music I've ever heard. Nearly every track consists of a kick and a snare on 1 and 3 that never leave that particular structure. On top is the bassline (or WUB WUB), mashed through fifteen fucking oscillators. Put some high-pitched lyrics on top that were cutoff into oblivion and BAM! Skrillex album.
