I said it before and I'll say it again, I don't have a problem with the gay romance in ME3, what I do have a problem with is how ham-fistedly it was implemented in the series. They made the gay romance option on a character that has only just been established and has such a fucking cliched backstory that it's just awful.

If it were in the first or even the second game that Shepard had a homosexual relationship, then I'd be ok, but at this point in the trilogy it's like if in Harry Potter they made Harry a gay in the final book with absolutely no prior establishment or grounding.

This guy was a well-written homosexual character. He didn't throw out in your face "THIS MAN HAS TEH GAY, LOOK HOW GAY HE IS." He wasn't a stereotype, he wasn't a degenerate, and although he was a "bad guy" I connected with his goals that his role in the Templars was to increase acceptance and tolerance in humanity over reactionary views.

Bioware had none of this. None of their characters are treated with proper dramatic weight or respect. I hate the homosex in ME3 because it means that besides the three conversations before the poo-pushing there will be no further information, character development, or reason to talk to them.

Hell, I have a femshep just so I could see the added, nonsexual dialogue on some of my crewmates.

To be fair, I'm actually having fun with this game.

I've ran into a couple of glitches during cinematics and once when a script for a mission didn't pop and I had to restart, but aside from that it's pretty decent, an improvment over ME2 easy.

Since I'm not going to do the gay romance, it's not really going to be an issue, so yeah.

Best part of this game is the soundtrack, holy fuck Hulick you sexy bastard.
