When the hell is Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out

Whats really annoying about this series is how overly complicated the plot has gotten. The fact that they spread the game out like crazy from system to system just makes it so much more absurd to actually play this series.

So yeah, the series is spread out all over the place. PS2, PSP, DS, and 3DS.

And KH3 isn't even out yet.

Ventus, Aqua, and Terra are the main chars

Terra gets taken over by Xehanort and ends up as Ansem and Xemnas

Aqua gets trapped in Realm of Darkness (heartless world)

Ventus gets fused with a dude named Vanitas, who looks like Sora. Then Ventus/Vanitas dies, and his heart goes to Sora. So Roxas is Ven's nobady, not Soras.

so basically they have to defeat xehanort who is back because his heatless and nobody were defeated, and they have to save the BBS guys

But how? It's like watching a movie with flashback scenes, except they play all the flashback scenes in chronological order first and then start the actual movie. That doesn't sound like a good idea, does it? No one would do that (except the fucking Godfather trilogy, holy shit that was a fuckup).

Basically, the earlier games (storywise) require you to have knowledge of the future events so that they make sense, and so that you understand their importance. The impact is lessened otherwise.

And then there's the gameplay progression which gets fucked when you don't play in order of release.
