I really don't understand the popularity of the Mass Effect series. Most things coming out of Bioware are pretty bland and unexciting.

It seems to just be money, as the only games pulled from Steam have been the AAA titles that they expect to turn a huge profit and have tons of DLC. Like DA2, Crysis 2, and now BF3 and ME3...likely Syndicate too, but I can't actually been at all interested in that game enough to read anything about it.

Games like Shank 2, Alice: TMR, Sims 3, Dead Space 2 are still on Steam. Games where there's almost no focus on DLC.

I love the shit out of BF3.

Don't get me wrong, I have all the battlefields (except for 2142, but I played that at a friend's house a lot), and played them to death.
Battlefield 3 is not as good as the previous titles, but it's still the best *new* online FPS.

And yes, I play the shit out of BF3 too, the way it was intended. With a lot of fucking teamwork.

I just like the game because you have big maps, vehicles, and the game revolves around teamwork.

Only the "hit registration" (or whatever it's called) can be a pain in the ass.
And some minor issues when trying to join a squad with friends, and not being able to leave between two matches.

ME3, Battlefield 3 and the upcoming CnC: Generals 2 are games I do want to play. But it is unlikely I will.
I also stopped playing Ubisoft games. i could easily do the same to EA. It's not that much of a problem. Plenty of other good games that do get released on multiple platforms or just Steam..
