Maybe if it was avoidable but no, when you travel from place to place there's a fixed chance of you running into battles with hostile creatures, more importantly the dungeons that you are required to progress through in main quests are mostly linear and filled to the brim with enemies.

Has anyone tried the game Schizm: Mysterious Journey? It's a wonderful game in the vein of Myst and Riven. A first-person point and click adventure, but with great puzzles that can leave you stumped for hours. If you really want to give your brain a workout, I highly recommend, Schizm: Mysterious Journey.

I just finished Titan's Quest for the first time today, was pretty fun although I screwed up my build a bit (warfare + earth, but some wasted points in earth mastery)

Worth playing again on the harder difficulty, or better to start a new character with different skill trees?

So I recently got Bastion after people on /v/ started creaming themselves over it. Played through a bit, got 3 cores. I'm not feeling it. I don't think it's a bad game by any means, but they artstyle isn't my thing and I don't like the pseudo-western vibe in the music. That and the world feels very linear and empty. Colorful, but thats about it. Still, the gameplay is solid and I dare say i'll play through to the end, it just hasn't caught me like it did everyone else.

Eh, I really just prefer the highlights. When something is joke worthy it's usually capped, uploaded to youtube and posted on /v/ in less than an hour. Rather not have to sit through half an hour of shitty trailers for games I don't care about just to get to one really awkward/stupid moment.

Want to get a new PS3 game. Something in the $30 price range or so. Was leaning towards inFamous 2, but not sure.

What does /v/ think of Human Wizard Slayer dual-classed with Thief in Baldur's Gate 2? The WS class is lv 7 (7% magic resist + 10% spell failure on enemy hit). I'm having doubts, since I really hate that I can't use most magic items.
