That's insane, I honestly always wondered why people in america were being put in prison for excessive amounts of time for fairly bullshit crimes, having read the Swedish system about rehabilitation instead of punishment and how those who come out on the other end are less likely to commit crimes, it sort of makes sense. Those being put behind bars for multiple sentences I would imagine just end up getting really really pissed off and would go out and shoot some cops or some shit.
