I was out in the forest one day with my friends, just building forts,hitting each other with sticks.. that kind of shit. We always liked to slide down this muddy embankment that was basically a load of loose soil and a slope.

We were up there one day, fucking around in our stick/leaf fort, decided to go slide down the embankment.

Anyway, I was going to make this a long story but basically we unearthed a severed toe beneath the soil. It was old, rubbery, extremely pale, kinda blue/green in colour.
There was a tip of bone sticking out the end and some dried, flakey blood on the end of it.

Once we had confirmed it was legit, I and my friends got out of there as fast as we fucking could. We ran and never went back, and none of us ever told anybody or spoke about it for some reason.

I've only just recalled this memory because of this thread, for a while afterwards I kept convincing myself it was a memory I'd created on account of being young.

I've since moved from Scotland, haven't been back to that town since.
