There is. The i7 920 at 2.4GHz is what I have IIRC. It ran it at the default which was high around 30fps, reduced to medium with extra junk off and tweaking it was about 50-60fps constantly.

Though I uninstalled Skyrim after about 6 hours, it's just not that interesting for me.

Just so you guys know, at one point I had it overclocked to 4.2Ghz with the GPU clocked at 1015Mhz.

It was on for 2 weeks straight. Its why I bought a cheap system. I can beat the fuck out of it and replace it when it breaks.


The parts for this system are already 2 years or more old, tech wise.

If I can get another 3-4 months out of it I'll be even happier.

If I wanted to have my system last I wouldn't be overclocking to 4.0Ghz when most people have trouble just getting to 3.8GHz with a aftermarket HS.
