751 KB Mass Effect 3 will be BioWare's redemption part 2. Also general Anonymous 12/05/11(Mon)11:31 No.119310997
    More RPG elements:

    -60 levels instead of 30.
-More powers per class, each with 6 evolutions and the last 3 are binary choices.
    -Weapon customization.
    -Squad armor customization.

    -No regenerating health, just shields.

    -Much more varied enemy types.

    - Better level design.

    Story:

-Based on the newer script, the story is probably the best main narrative of the series.
-Nice dialog and banter between characters.
-CHOICES MATTER and Renegades don't get screwed.
"Tthe Krogan choices (Wrex on Virmire & Maelon's genophage data) seems to be both determining to the outcome of the Genophage plot in ME3. I also think the proposition from the Salarians to sabotage the genophage in exchange for Salarian fleet & techs is supposed to be a way to make Renegade players still get fleet & help for Crucible even though they lose Krogan support.

If you accept the Salarian offer, it seems Wrex finds out about it and won't believe you anymore in anything. If you also destroyed the Maleon's cure, Eve dies and your deal will the Krogan seems to be fawked, but you have the Salarian support instead.

But if you don't accept the Salarian offer, it seems you still can have Wrex on your side even if you destroyed the Maleon's data (and thus Eve dies). But he won't trust you as much and you will most likely not have as much Krogan forces as you could with both Wrex & Eve alive. So at least in this case, I don't see anything BioWare did wrong. Not only choices matter but Renegade players ain't screwed.

As for Rachni, I say we should learn more before screaming "choices don't matter". That's how it looked like at first with the genophage thing.

Same for the Collector's base. maybe one of the endings (control the Reapers one) may be available only if you saved the base."

Donkey Kong County Returns has a button that plays all the levels for you and it's the hardest platformer in recent history save for Super Meat Boy.

Giving the retards such auto-win cheats lets the devs make the game more challenging for the ones who want to actually play.
