Kotor1 was BW's attempt at sw rpg game.
Then kotor2 graced us with its masterful writing, awesome storyline and great npcs.

TOR is George lucas pulling story strings and trying to milk the forever broken Star Wars canon.

TOR is horseshit, it does not give you real choices, it has everything that's bad from BW and WoW combined into one, while ignoring everything that might have made it bearable.

kotor2 was the right direction, this is a 180° turn-around and they even burn down k1-k2 just to make place for TOR's horridness.

I think the game is good, but it does have one major flaw that really irks me.

Firstly though, the voice acting is awesome, it really immerses you into the story and makes you feel like you are playing KOTOR 3 or something. It kinda reminds me of how everyone loved the first island in Age of Conan (Tortuga I think the place was called) becuase it had a great art feel to it, and everything was VO'd; you got really immersed basically. I also feel like my class quests are very well designed, my Agent has to build up a false identity to infilitrate a ring of gangsters etc.

Here's my big issue though. The graphics fucking suck. Whats the point in spending all this effort to try and immerse you when the graphics are barely a step-up from WoW's? It's 2011 for christ sake. I understand the reasoning behind why they are this way, becuase it was a 'design choice' and they didn't want the game to 'age badly' (they argued like AoC has) but fuck sake, it looks old straight outta the box.

The animations are also a little stiff, which is something they could improve.
