Now y'see there's the difference. The Princess Bride established and based the entire story around the protagonist and her lover on a mutual romantic, and unyielding love that everyone else's in history pales to. Link and Zelda, like everything from Japan, are probably going to pussyfoot around for the bulk of the game before Link realizes Zelda isn't just being crazy, wacky, and hyperactive.

I don't see where The Princess Bride intersects here unless you tell me Link can commission sword upgrades and kill the blacksmiths for them.
