10/30/11(Sun)10:04 No.115269974>>115269265 >>115269436 >>115269461 My chopper skills came from BF2. It just took me a few tries to adapt them for BF3's slightly altered control scheme.
You
are right though, Fire From the Sky is an amazing training aid and you
only piss off one person if you fuck up, rather than 31 people,
potentially.
Also, stealing the other team's helicopter on a Rush
map is also useful for training. If you fly well, you deny the enemy
air transport and kill them a few times. If you do bad, you denied the
enemy air transport for a little bit.
I went 2-1 and 1500 points
or so after hijacking the American's VENOM on a Caspian Border Rush
round. Got into it in the first few minutes of the game and was in it
until the game ended with our defeat. Didn't have an Engineer and just
had IR Flares, so could only take ~2 Stingers before going down, so I
had to evade, dodge, and bide time for repairs to kick in.
At least 1 person said I was "crazy skilled" when I was buzzing the ground at the second set of MCOMs to evade MANPAD's lock on.
So many Driver Assists and Spotting Assists. |
