DICE is a big and experienced developer, they work fast. And it's not that hard to believe that they can produce 4 great maps in a short amount of time when we already have the quality of Battlefield 3 as proof that they're very competent.

They're old maps. They just redesign them. You know, like redo the textures, add more objects and whatnot.
