Why do people hate /v/ so much? It's easily the best place to discuss video games on the internet. Sure, there's the non video gaem threads, but they're little more than a small annoyance. People don't get how bad other video game boards are.

Don't like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? Banned for trolling. Disagree with a moderator and his opinions? Banned for starting a flamewar. Don't like whatever new popular game is out? Also banned for trolling. Talk about an old game? Noone replies, everyone is too busy talking about call of duty. Console wars are even worse on other boards because they actually take them seriously. Say a "bad" word? Banned for trolling/bad language.

Face it, as much as you hate /v/, it's still the best place to discuss video gaem by far.
