Mind you' I'm bad as well, I can't aim for shit as this amount of recoil is unusual to me, but I really was willing to learn. I can't however.

Map - long tunnels and open spaces - sniper paridise. It makes learning the gameplay really frustrating as you just die from guys sitting mile away. It was always like this, but on this map there is no vehicles to help out. This choice of map makes learning really frustrating. It forces you to crawl for a minute and then die.

That wouldn't be that bad if you had teammates worth anything but you cannot chane squads? This is my biggest problem, as only options ale "leave squad" and "find squad" and I saw nothing apart from that.

I could live with that if they would at least let me rez people so I wouldn't feel so useless for now. But defibrilator is an unlock and I have to try to fight to get points. Also, noone rezes.

Bugs - you seem to drown in the ground sometimes. Some people, however, don't give a fuck and proceed to kill everyone from below the map.

I would probaly sit past all that and try to enjoy the beta, but I get "connection timed out" every 15 min. Then I have to navigate through atrocious Origin and start up the game again.

I'm not sure if I'm able to force myself to play this anymore.

I only played 2 hours but I didn't find some of the issues you guys have talked about.

Snipers - It might be the absence of the wookies, but I didn't see an over abundance of snipers nor did the death counts read out all Mk11. The two guys who killed me the most were a shotgunner and an ACOG M4.

I did get a good deal of visual bugs, though.

My impression so far is that it's not battlefield 3, but neither is it BC3. It's something in between and Caspian sea + conquest + larger maps will probably reinforce that.

As someone who has only baught 1942 and Bad Company 2 (last month for £10, mind you), I am completely satisfied with it. Yes, there are loads of snipers, but you get used to it since you can more often than not just flank them and/or shine a flashlight in their face.

Rushers get shot instantly, camping isnt rewarding at all. Sticking with the team is fun. Guns have low recoil, but still, need to be mastered. The leveling up is kinda too fast for me, there is an unlock every round to keep those ADD kids from COD in the game, meh.

The game also looks amazing, im glad Im playing it on ultra smoothly, feelsgud.

Metro is absolutely intense once you get past the first Mcoms. Typically you do, I'd say 1/5 games doesn't. But the combat in those subway systems is ridiculous. Not to mention the fight for the 2nd last mcom sets is an intense uphill battle unless the defending team is retarded.

Metro is a good mix between close and non-close quarters. It's a fucking awesome rush map.

To be completely honest, I like how fluid this new infantry combat is. Battlefields have always been more or less clunky, but this seems quite good.

It's to fucking linear. You pair that with the insane amounts of lag and rubberbanding + the glitches and the map becomes terrible. There are very few spots where you can flank your enemy and use tactics.

Maybe it's just the bugs, but Metro is just not fun to me at all. I'm a guy who even enjoys playing CoD from time to time, but Metro is to linear even considering the level design from other linear shooters. It *can* be intense, but usually it's just annoying.

Caspian Border was intense. Getting shot at by a tank while planes fly overhead and rockets zip over my head is my idea of intense. Having one guy camping in the corner with an M249 mowing down everybody and no way to kill him except a lucky shot to the head or a grenade if you can get close enough is not intense, it's annoying.

I'm not ripping the gameplay mechanics here. They are wonderful. Metro just does not let this game shine. Me and many other people agree. It's bad press for this game too.
