09/15/11(Thu)08:19 No.110329908Updated list. Just two new entries.
Confirmed changes/new additions in XIII-2: -Non-linear maps -Towns with real NPC interaction -Sidequests available from the beginning -Time
Travel (Historia Crux) mechanism that allows you to repeat areas
multiple times so you can explore different possibilities that lead to
multiple endings. -New Game + (Historia Crux allows you to rewind time and redo areas but you keep your experience and items) -Recruitable
Monsters (they level up in a system similar to the crystarium and you
can customize their abilities with accessories) -QTEs/Cinematic Action in battle (to break up the monotony of battle and no penalties are given for failing) -Characters
returning from XIII (they act as guest party members in battle and
supposedly each character from the XIII party is returning in some form) -Mogclock
(new encounter system that gives bonuses or penalties depending on how
fast you engage enemies and it's basically a mix of random encounters
and seeing the monsters in the fields) -Etro, Pulse, and Lindzei serve as an axis for the game's branching story -Minigames (rumored to have a lot of them) -Puzzles (the Anamoly System) -Live
Trigger (dialogue trees that don't effect the story but are just to
provide insight for the player and dialogue changes when an area is
played more than once) -Combat appear to be the same but with tweaks to each paradigm role that allows for more customization (blood damage system) -Story written by a professional writer (Jun Eishima) -Music composers include Hamauzu (FFX, XII, XIII), Naoshi Mizuta (FFXI, Parasite Eve 2), and Mitsuto Suzuki (TWEWY) -Gil is now earned after battle -You can change the party leader during battle -Multiple battle difficulties |
