I have all DLC, and live in western Canada. Glitched to be stuck at level 61, though. PC version.

Beat the entire game + the first 3 DLCs. Is the robot revolution any good?

I got it on steam with all the DLC for 30 bucks last week, haven't been able to stop playing. thankfully I'm on sick leave.
Anyone else find that the gamespy playing doesn't really work? I've been going singleplayer with Roland and really enjoyed it. Just starting the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned now. Can we do some multiplayer here? maybe an IP connect or steam or do I have to rely on the gamespy service?

Gamespy is half the reason people raged.

They failed to fix its connection issues for the first 5 months of the game, and by that time everyone on PC said fuck you.

If the sequel is on Gamespy, I'm not even gonna play it.

Found it amazing how fun Roland was to play. Going medic and support makes you all kinds of friends.

Guy that's stuck at level 61 here. I tried everything. Willowtree won't fix it, I've finished everything in the game, reinstalled, etc.

The only thing to do is nuke the saves that I started in October 2009, and fuck that.
I have so many good weapons that there are bank characters sitting in Fyrestone with inventories full of legendaries.

So, anyone hosting a game? Haven't done much of the DLC, just a bit of Robot Revolution and the first level of Moxxi's. Level 40-something Lilith, been ages since I played.

That happened to a few buddies of mine. No idea why it happened. I actually took my level 62 character and basically edited it to match their old characters. At level 62 of course.

The limit was raised to 69 if you had all DLC, right? Couldn't you just create a new character, transfer weapons, and have some higher levels help to grind you?

I was able to get my friends to level 30 in just a few hours on new characters.

Well, I could. I'd make a new Lilith, dump all my weapons onto it, edit my inventory slots and proficiency to what they are, etc., then go through the entire game again.


However it's much harder (or maybe I didn't look in the right place) to get back things like time played (which only matters to me), achievements.

I've got a level 37~ Mordecai I'd like to finish off the campaign with. Tried with some bro, but his internet and Gamespy's shitty network prevented us from playing.

Besides, if you've got bros, doing all that shit again could be pretty enjoyable. Some of the most fun I had was playing with friends trying to get the race track achievement. I got one of them the achievement by pushing him at the front of my car.

Nope, the only reason it exists in game is to log in so you can use multiplayer. There's no stat tracking of the game.

I remember I played with some South African guy who dropped two light blue weapons (Forgot the name of the guy who drops them). One was a pretty decent level 50 Repeater, but the other was a high-level Rocket Launcher worth the max value - 9s all across.

Some level 19 Mordecai picked it up. He also stole the repeater which had been meant for me, and it took about 30 minutes of the African guy and myself demanding he drop it to get it back.

Is there any way to tell if a weapon is modded?

I wish the game had hack protection from the very start. I stopped playing it because everyone had 1-shot weapons that fired 500 rockets.

Yes, generally modded weapons have weird prefixes/names that don't occur naturally in game..

Such as: Anaconda Bitch.

They can never happen on the same weapon type, since the Anaconda is a revolver and the Bitch is an SMG.

I am a greedy and lazy fuck so I always sent out Hawkie, I know it had a more hardcore name I just never use it, to kill everything while I picked up the loot.

Things that went wrong:

-horrible online for PC
-rushed ending, last half of the game was almost devoid of personality and fun
-2k games is a dick
-no anti-hack, openly edited .ini files made you a god
-Siren blatantly imba
-pvp was over in 2 seconds
-elemental damage system was a disappointment.
