Just
because some creatures change from point a to point b, you assume they
did so slowly over time, on their own, yet unconsciously. That's
retarded. If you look at it objectively and without fantasizing about
what you'd like it to mean, you'd quickly realize they actually changed
in a moment, and very specifically. You keep eating the shit your
overlords in white coats serve you because they don't want you to
realize what is going on. because they fear the consequences of it
becoming public knowledge, and rightfully so. The scientist of the
future are going back through time and rewriting the genetic code of
future-extinct species, making slight changes with surgical precision,
giving them the ability to survive whatever would cause their
extinction. And that would all be swell and dandy, but some dipshit had
to go back and have a chat with his great grandfather or something, and
that stirred a bee hive. Why not use it to prevent death, destruction
and misery? Of course, that would change history too significantly, and
the end result would be highly unpredictable, possibly catastrophic, as
you can not predict the events surrounding an individual human as easily
and accurately as those surrounding a catalogued species. Of course,
some people would risk such disaster in hope of a perfect world. Why did
