Am I the only one who finds it a shameful display to use the flavor of the month or overpowered champions? I used Gangplank before the buffs but I can't touch him now. I played a lot of Amumu because I liked the little guy, now every one uses him so I really don't feel like using him. And so on.

I enjoy playing the champions I like and make them work, instead of picking whatever is overpowered at the moment so I can pubstomp easier. And I fucking hate it when the champions I like get attention.

Guys, I think LoL is dying. I've been playing for 2 years now and its just fucking BORING. It's the same shit every single time. You either get a fucking terrible team or an awesome team who know what the hell they're doing. Riot never delivers on their promises (most of them), think about the Magma Chamber or even Monkey King for that matter, when do you think he's coming out? never. After Dota 2 comes out which will probably be never because of Valve time most of LoL will go to Dota 2. The only reason people play LoL is because its free, and since Valve says Dota 2 will be f2p there will be no point of LoL anymore. Even some pro LoL commentators, who commentate of nothing else but LoL are saying they're getting tired of the game and even some of them are moving to HoN.

How to fix Leona:

Make her Eclipse shield a low mana toggle, keep the 3 second pulses, lower the base damage (~210 damage every 3 seconds = 70 DPS, which is pretty much in line with Singed's Poison Trail and Amumu's Despair) and adjust Armor/MR gained from it. Overall DPS-wise, it would bring her in line with all other tanks.

Now she's actually a viable threat in teamfights when she sticks around and her farm sucks less ass.

I could see something along those lines working, but IMO Leona needs something big and flashy. Making her eclipse a toggle could work, but maybe make the pulses less frequent, but hit really hard. Still the same dps overall, but make it a lot more flashy. Sort of the same as cho'gath's size increase, mostly a visual taunt.
Could make her fun to play (the main issue with tanks is they're not fun to play) by having this giant solar flare going off every 5 seconds or so and hitting for a bunch. Would probably need to shift her damage around to keep her balanced, but her Eclipse has major potential.

The fact still remains that champions are balanced around flash now. Champions that rely on flash to be forced to rush this item because they cannot function without it. Several champions can't just be "buffed" to not needing flash, several champs entire kits revolve around it, and would need complete reworks to even be viable.

Not to mention champions with built in flashes all of a sudden become insanely OP with an inherant advantage over champs without it.

If they're going to fix flash at all, they will nerf the cooldown. In its current state it's far too viable because it's up just way too often. People will flash to kill someone in lane, knowing it will be up in 200 seconds, rather than saving flash for defensive reasons. If you increase the cooldown to like, 350 seconds, people will reconsider flashing in most situations. It would make for a more passive game, but people will be much more vulnerable to ganking, and retards won't just push like crazy knowing they can just flash away.
