Shiny Gold is done in a sense. The hacker didn't do all he wanted to, but the most current version does have all eight Kanto gyms and their elite four.

Parallel worlds is a ALTTP hack, so you'll need a snes emulator, such as Zsnes or Snes9x. (You'll need savestates.)
