I
love the 360 controller. It has great design and feels good when you
hold it. Replace the D pad with something much more defined, like the
PS3 or Wii's. I think to improve it, and improve all controllers,
would to put the face buttons of the bottom of the controller, where
your fingers grip. It would allow you to operate both analog sticks
while being able to use the face button functions. It would use the
other fingers that are wasted gripping it, allowing full control of the
game. Another cool addition would be swapping of sticks and the
D-pad. You could take out the D pad, and swap it with one of the analog
sticks. With the face buttons gone, you could also put it parallel to
where it originally was, making it balanced for left handed gamers. I
don't want any motion control or screen, because its a controller,
right? Not a wagglan simulator or television, I want to play games on
it. The only motion addition I'd think would be neat would be to add the
Sixaxis controls. If used correctly, they add just the subtlest touch
you need when playing a game. It could be used as lean for instance in
shooter games, or could help turn in flight games (NOT Lair) |
