It's not that it was real good, it's just it wasn't particularly bad in any one area. For a horror movie that puts it in the top 10% of the genre.

I don't often get really riled up about movies but this is one of the few exceptions.
I can only assume it's because Raimi is one of those people who gets heaps of praise no matter what he shits out.
I admit I did watch it in a crappy motel room during a really shitty christmas so that definitely didn't help.

Sam Raimi's my favorite director and I consider this to be among his best. I strongly recommend it. Watch it with a good group of people if you can.

Drag Me To Hell is a fucking awesome movie. If you dislike it, I strongly suspect you don't like movies at all.

I disagree that the ending sucks. It's a bit ... anti-climactic, but in an appropriate and fitting way.

I do agree with the "the journey is more than the destination" outlook for this movie though. If you go into it with that in mind, you'll appreciate it more.
