"In the "Rubber Room" episode, Lupo and Bernard are assigned to investigate a rogue Web site run by an anonymous blogger named "Moot," who's apparently armed to the teeth and threatening to blow a city school to smithereens.
Most of Moot's rants focus on his former teachers, and after gaining access to a site in which city teachers gossip about their jobs, Lupo and Bernard are steered toward a "Temporary Assignment Center" in Queens.

I saw parts of this movie on tv once and I don't remember what the fuck it's called. It's about this girl who falls in love with another girl at her boarding school, but the other girl is ashamed and so she breaks it off and starts fucking guys.

And the other girl starts going pretty crazy over her and quotes shakespeare and shit.

Does anyone have any idea what the fuck I'm talking about?

I can't really impose this sort of shit on anyone else so you will have to do, /tv/, especially on this L O S T day of all days. Fuck, talk about bad timing.

Anyway.

I watched Chunking Express about 3 years ago. I was familiar with Wong Kar Wai but only in that vague sort of way where you've read reviews of his work or seen clips of it, or even more tenuously, references and comparisons to it in articles about other things.

So I watched Chunking Express and I was surprised by how much I liked it. Arty farty shit is bad enough but a arty fart shit in Chinese? Please. I realised how badly mistaken I was as soon as I finished watching it. It was odd, brash at times, but constantly entertaining and most of all it seemed unique.

So unique, I thought he couldn't repeat that sort of thing. No way. In the Mood For Love was the one I wanted to watch but my apprehension kept me from seeing it for a ridiculous amount of time. I've had it on my hard drive for at least 9 months now and I only got round to watching it today.

It was fucking mesmerising. This guy is a fucking auteur in the truest and best sense of the word. He's so damn playful and creative, using these strange tricks that you don't see coming but delight you, but at the same time it's never for done for its own sake. It's always to further the story or to help you gain deeper insight into wtf is going on. Nothing is gratuitous in this.

In The Mood For Love went into my top 10 movies of the 00s straight away. Downloading 2046 right now and no fucking I'm letting it linger on my hard drive.
