And you were stupid enough as a country to let it stand. BBC tried this about 5 years ago but got enough complaints to drop it.

That, and we pay a license fee. Adverts on a non-advert station is appalling.

Lets be honest I'm the real reason people watch BBC1 on a Saturday. Why else would my wages be more than that of Doctor Who, his assistants and Moffet combined?

I'm the real star, which is why I like to boost Doctor Who's ratings by muscling in on it uninvited so much. Remember what I did with the first of the new episodes? Ever wonder why it is only ever me that interrupts Doctor Who? I tell the BBC when and where I want my cartoon ticker thing to show up and they have to jump for me or risk loosing their biggest star.

Yes but either in between shows or during the credits, that is why they have the credit squeese so they don't have to put shit like this crawling over the climax of a show.

It was a dancing, mincing cartoon of Graham Norton taking up nearly 1/4 of the screen, I missed what the Doctor was doing and saying because my attention went on the brightly coloured faggot.

At most the Doctor only spends one or maybe two episodes per season in London. And up until recently, 90% of those episodes were only in London because of Rose. Post-Rose most episodes are in space or alien planets. Even new series is only one episode in London. The others were in the countryside, on a space ship and on an alien planet.

Don't know why a gun is such a big deal. I just watched the Family of Blood Episode and sealing someone in an Event Horizon for all of time sounds way fucking worse than shooting a gun.

Besides 9th was always looking for the biggest gun he could find. And 7th was just borderline evil.

I just started watching the first series and the Doctor fucking kidnaps two people and holds them hostage just so they won't tell the police about his box (which can move in time and space and avoid the police). The Doctor started off pretty evil, so I don't know where his aversion to guns comes from.

    Episodes *set* in London:

Rose, Aliens of London/WW3, Empty Child/Doctor Dances, Father's Day, Christmas Invasion, School Reunion, Idiots Lantern, Love & Monsters, Fear Her, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, Runaway Bride, Smith & Jones, Lazarus Experiment, Blink, Sounds of Drums/Last of the Timelords, Partners in Crime, Sontaran Strategy/Poison Sky, Turn Left, Next Doctor, The End of Time, Victory of the Daleks.

That's a helluvva lot; and it's not including the Cyberman two-parter (alt. universe) or Journey's End because London was merely a location amongst many.

    I wrote in my complaint:

"I was watching this illegally via a pirate internet stream from America. You managed to piss me off from across the globe. If I paid any TV tax, I'd come to your offices and shit in your coffee machine because that's what you've done to my Doctor Who."

The sad thing about most of these is you wouldn't put it past the BBC to do them.

The BBC has issued an apology regarding a trailer for the reality show 'Over the Rainbow', which appeared during the final scenes of yesterday's episode of Doctor Who.

The trailer, which showed an animated Graham Norton gyrating his hips, angered a huge number of Doctor Who fans who deemed it "unnecessary" and "disgusting."

"It resulted in destroying the tension for many of us, and we just don't want this in Doctor Who!" said one fan, from the popular Doctor Who forum, Gallifrey Base. "Why is the BBC treating its audience like idiots?" said another on Twitter.

A BBC spokesperson officially replied to the outrage, saying that they "apologise for the timing of Saturday night's trail."

The Time of Angels, which saw the return of the Weeping Angels, gained an average of 6.6 million viewers
