The reason why a remake, no matter how well acted and well written, will never be as good as the original is because of the atmosphere the original had.

The original movie was done with a very low budget, so everything in the movie was stripped down to its raw elements. It was basic, but it was powerful.

And I doubt that they'll have the same music from the original which was one of the best parts of the movie.
