02/07/10(Sun)11:48 No.7089301I
really like the Harry Potter movies.
I have grown to hate comic
book movies. They're over-milked, and am sick of retard studios thinking
everything that's in comics translates to movies. The only ones I hate
worst are fucking remakes/relaunches/reboots/whatever the fuck you call
them. Alan Moore is right to hate each and every one of the studios and
fans who are into this shit.
Least favorite genre = romance
comedies. OK I get it Sandra Bullock or Jennifer Aniston is the quirky
girl who falls in love with her co-star while shenannigans ensue, just
like in the last fucking romance comedy with the exact same fucking
plotline.
Most trophy farmer movies are shit to me. The main
character is the victim who dies in the end; bonus points if killed by
evil white Christian Americans. Redundant shit. What will surprise me
with Clint Eastwood's next movie? Will he die? Will Hilary Swank die? Or
will he get all crazy on me and have both he and Swank die?
The
only female actor I think does an A+ job is Meryl Streep, and that's in
spite of me not liking a single movie she's been in.
Disney/pixar
movies may be kiddy crap, but most of them are actually very good. The
only one that disappointed me was Wall-E, and that's because I felt a
wasteland movie about robots would have been cooler than a bunch of fat
people. Disney had a good chance to make the best movie they could have
made with a grimdark wasteland told through the eyes of a child-like
robot and blew it for cartoony shit for kids.
The only remakes I
ever liked were Star Trek (2009) and the sci-fi channel BSG. The rest
leave me with a sick feeling in my stomach knowing my childhood is being
raped.
If I don't respect an actor, I have a hard time getting
into a movie with him/her in it, and will often just avoid it.
We
need more movies by the South Park creators, and I don't know why they
don't make more since Comedy Central orders so few episodes per season
now. |
