    Movies you regret missing theatrically.

Pic related, nothing that I do in life will make up for this, NOTHING.

Kung Fu Panda holy shit I went to see Iron man instead because I thought "No one in my area likes Superhero films anyways, they'll pull it out in two weeks"
Surprise surprise, Iron Man stayed for a month and a week while Kung Fu Panda was pulled in two weeks.

I don't get it, did they release the TTGL movie on theaters outside Japan?

Oh, and it is true that they changed the manga ending for the 29th Century Boys movie?

Might be a little out of place in /tv/, but I really wish I could have seen this when it came out in theaters in Japan.

Sort of annoyed I never saw Cloverfield on the big screen. I don't think I'll ever watch it now, which is too bad; I generally like JJ's work.

    Jackass

    BOTH OF THEM.

Not gonna make the same mistake for the 3rd movie.

Team America, Superbad, and Hot Fuzz. I bet they played beautifully with an audience.

I should've seen Hurt Locker and Moon theatrically. I hate hurrying to watch the Oscar bait on DVD. It makes it feel like a chore.

I'd also love to see one of the original Star Wars movies or Lawrence of Arabia on the big screen.

    I laugh at you fools.

Want to hear something cool? My brother works at a theater, he's been there long enough that on thursday mornings/noon, we can go in, bring a bluray and watch a movie, full sound, biggest screen in the building.

Watched The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly today. It was glorious.

Never in my life did I think I would see that movie in a theater.
    >> Xenos 01/28/10(Thu)20:52 No.6924204
Sometimes smaller threaders get prints of older movies. Though not quite as cool as huge screen premieres.

There was one 90s movie I regret not seeing at a drive in on Cape Cod one summer my family was down there. We decided to move on and not wait around until it started later that night. Hell, don't even remember, but I regret not hitting up one of the few drive ins that were still operating.

Somewhat related, Galaxy Quest was at a theater near me recently. Found out too late. Saw it originally, but I would like to have seen it again.

Oh and I saw the new Evangelion movie at a local art house theater. Wasn't too big, but still nice. Plus they had beer. Woot. Drinking along with Misato.

I saw Cloverfield in theaters. It was a lot fun. It was something akin to a dark carnival ride.
