Yeah, i got AMC versions from TPB that silenced some of the cursewords, but showed a lot of violence/meth cooking (by basic cable standards). It was a tiny bit annoying, but I really didn't mind. Still loved the show.

Bullshit. Breaking Bad was shown on cable in Australia, so it doesn't matter.

But HBO shows such as The Sopranos, Oz, Big Love, etc. are broadcast on free-to-air TV as is in Australia.

I don't know where you got the opinion that Aus TV is censored. In the 90s a court in Australia ruled that coarse language can no longer be considered offensive because of its widespread use and since then language and a whole lot of other things have been deemed suitable on free-to-air television.

The torrents I downloaded a while back were censored. But it wasn't bad, only a few words were cut out. All the scenes with them making/using drugs were there.
