Loved bebop, the music is what really shines in it. Even the movie. Samurai Champloo did nothing for me however. I liked a few of the characters but that's about it. I would see it just to see it though.

Samurai Champloo was completely forgettable - while Bebop has a great cast of dynamic characters and well-written episodes, Champloo's cast is about as static and unchanging as you can get, and the writing is nowhere near as sharp.

Bebop is amazing, champloo is meh

I'll agree to an extent, a lot of the Gung-ho's were worthless to the series as a whole. Which was a shame, as they were all pretty damned interesting and cool as shit, just severely under-developed as characters.

Still made for an action-filled second half of the series, and a fun ride in general.
