But they often admit that they don't have the answers. In fact, all the time.

They just like to point out that these people are idiots. Which they often are.

An example would be the porn episode where those women were claiming that porn predisposes men to rape. Penn and Teller refuted their claim and then proceeded to point out that there was really no evidence either way. And their insistence that there was was idiotic.

Hey, Teller, lets go interview random people on the street and ask them questions about complicated and extremely broad issues like the environment, welfare and the free market and whenever someone gives an uneducated or naive answer, we'll put it in our show and without giving them a chance to respond, refute them in a condescending way to prove how dumb liberals are. Evangelicalism is, as has been pointed out before in this topic, a Christian movement.

While you can be an Evangelist of Microsoft's products or an Evangelist of Gay Rights, being Evangelical implies something completely different. Which is membership to said Christian denomination.

I like this show but sometimes it is offensive. They cherry-pick their information to provide a heavily biased view -- something they freely admit to doing, I mean fuck it is their show after all.

For the most part Penn & Teller have pretty cool, liberal viewpoints about the world. But some of their stuff like legalizing drugs and prostitution was fucked up IMO, and they deliberately stayed away from the 'reality' of those things and focused on sort of a fantasy viewpoint that is true in some places, but not for the majority of America.

Their bashing of people who see Mary in a piece of toast or wood grain panel was fucking priceless.

I love the show but the one episode which bothered me most was Immigration. I felt like they completely missed the point of why people are opposed to illegal immigration. They didn't even MENTION public services.

You do understand that it's so great in those places because it's legal and regulated right? It sucks everywhere else because it isn't.

What are you saying? Prostitution is legal in Australia and I am sure it is better for the country than the US's stance.

Not the least from the male perspective. The whores have to at least be hot to have a chance. Plus they are taken care of and catered for in brothels. Not beaten around and ripped off by pimps.

The thing is, who gives a shit?

The harsh truth is that in journalism, documentary, news, etc, there is usually a bias. It's all essentially propaganda, just that some are more subtle than others.

It's just a case of whether you agree with them or not.

Still trying to say that a murder justifies deathrow when we're past the sentencing phase huh? It won't matter, he's already on deathrow, but he should have been locked up in some cellar in the prison where only the experienced guards would come by and drop food down the slot of his cell door.
