During a fictional series of Big Brother, a zombie outbreak occurs, but the house-mates are unaware of the impending doom outside of the Big Brother House.

Thinking about an idea for one myself.
Episode 1, would be pretty normal, but end with a cliffhanger about the main character encountering his first zombie
Episode 2 would be him and/or someone else killing it, everyone thinking "What the fuck" and another character revealing that they've been bitten.
By about episoede 5-8, everything would start to go to shit.

World War Z mini series. Band of Brothers style.

all the dead characters from heroes came back as super zombies.

It's like firefly. So you have a cast of 9 or so that can play off each other, while also having a few outside characters that they meet and interact with. They're all just trying to survive.

There's never been a zombie TV series.

I'd watch a zombie tv series. But only if it was a tv series. I'm tired of zombie movies. Shit's getting monotonous.

But this is basically how I'd like it to go.
-First episode centers around a group of 3 or 4 people.
-Second episode introduces a new group of people that are unrelated to the people from episode 1. Occasional segment reverts back to the original group from Ep. 1.
-Third episode introduces another group of people. All three groups end up getting separated. Maybe a group of 4 people gets split up 2:2 or a group of 3 gets split up 2:1 or 1:1:1. Either way, the people who got separated eventually hook up with people who got separated from other groups. Forming new groups.

Does this shit make any sense?

A sitcom in which zombies are laying siege to a suburban family. At the end of each show some madcap mistake lets the zombies in to feast on the family. As the zombies devour the family the father utters a witty one-liner while his family is screaming all around him and his guts are being torn out. Family returns the following week to be killed again.

Well yeah, similar paradigm I guess. But not really the same at all. I'd take inspiration from Resident Evil: Outbreak. Not entirely plot-wise, but also the way it portrays totally different people, places and scenarios. The people being forced to stick together.

Or like, it starts off as just a light hearted sitcom about a family in their fortified home. They're surprisingly peachy, corny et cetera. Then the whole thing just takes a giant dark turn as the family's defenses are penetrated and they get fucking devoured by zombies in the most gory fashion. It'd be a mini-series/sitcom.

But the dad has to crack a one liner right before the room is flooded with zombies.
