Glee - I watch this show alone, in my room, with the speakers turned down low, at night. This show just feels so good to watch. The musical numbers are great, Sue is just great, Emma is ADORABLE, and Will's not too bad, either.

I guess this is embarrassing because it has a rep as a girl show, but I am a guy and I really liked Gilmore Girls. To be honest I think the title is misleading - I assumed it was going to be about high school girls for some reason, maybe at some school or town called 'Gilmore', whereas the actual premise of the show are much more tolerable and interesting to me.

I also liked Popular although it could be pretty hit and miss, and it was created by the same gay guy who makes Glee, so maybe I should watch Glee as well since it seems to be getting an embarrassed thumbs up from lots of people in this thread.

I'm conflicted on Dollhouse. I am giving it more leeway than other shows since I am a Joss Whedon fan but I do have problems with it. The latter half of season 1 got pretty interesting, and now season 2 is kind of boring again. I think its two main problems are:

A) Eliza Dushku is just not good enough of an actor to be playing a lead character who changes personalities constantly
B) The show is way too convoluted, there is too much crap stuffed in each episode, and I think it's making things harder to believe as well. Joss needs to somehow simplify it.

I recently got through Gilmore Girls, and it was interesting because I thought the season quality was parallel to Buffy the Vampire Slayer

seasons 1 - 3 = great
season 4 = good but not quite as much as 1-3
season 5 = good but some issues
season 6 = more issues, too depressing
season 7 = still too depressing

Lorelai and Rory seemed to have bad decision making ability when it came to guys but it got a little annoying starting with Rory in season 5. I also thought that whole Lorelai and Rory being estranged from each other thing was a really bad choice, since that their relationship and banter is like the core of the show.
