The ending to this movie has always bothered me. Why? I'm not sure its not really a good movie or did anything worth noting. Its just another shitty scifi but what bothers me so god damn much is the open ending. What I have come to understand is its a book series as well. I implore you /tv/ what happens at the end?

They mashed together different books and only covered the beginning stuff. The ultimate answer isn't that great BTW
