Both were fun Jokers, Ledger's was the better one and the more ruthless.

However, to say that Ledger's Joker was the "right Joker" is completely false. Most of the things the Jacker did are the same crazy, unpredictable deadly silliness that the Joker from the comic's has done, even today. Sure, he's also the violent sociopath in the style of the TDK, but sometimes he gets bored and spices it up a bit with a little camp.

Don't tell me The Dark Knight was a remake.
